um okay ive never done this before sorry for any mistakes

Theory: The character support system gives 2000 credits whenever it's used, up to a max of (I think its 50,000? I'm trying to find where the game says this, ill check later) credits. this ticket is to figure out how the system works exactly between every use and every round, as well as documenting other uses of the support system (like borrowing a character to complete a team for a character-related achievement ie. One Big Happy Family)

Evidence: honestly im not sure how to document this yet? between two devices/friends at least. i could as my friend to screenshot/record the process or i could. but so far ive done two 6x rounds with my friend and she only got 10K. whereas my friend's done a single 6x round today and i only received 6K. it leads us to believe:
~~1. you need to do 1 round at a time, with "attempt again"~~
2. you need to do 1 round at a time, without "attempt again"
3. number of rounds doesn't matter, there is an internal cooldown in the form of time that the game recognizes that is individual per account.
4. number of rounds doesn't matter, there is an internal cooldown in the form of number of other accounts using the support before your account counts towards 'giving' the 2000 credits again (like genshin's trees)

~~the 4 above are untested hypotheses that we'll get through soon once our trailblaze power replenishes~~ tested, hypothesis 2 is proven

the achievement thing and other uses is something ill have to tackle a separate time

Significance: you get to know how to milk credits out of the support system 😎 why farm credits with trailblaze power when you can help a bro and get credits at the same time, saving your resources to farm other things. also allows to receive stellar jades by completing team-specific achievements

this is obviously unfinished and its also pretty late so umm ill test more tomorrow i hope i did this right

"max" is 60000 stored, but also only 5x2000 per day for 10k a day max

im assuming the support rewards are instantaneous because i remember getting it at random points of the day

i think outside of getting credits you can get achievements and i think.. thats about it for what friend supports are for 🤔 ill check if i missed anything

got data for the "you can receive single character related achievements with the support version of said character" \o/ ill put a document together tmrw

todo list:
1. make document
2. is it all character achievements or just some of them
3. when you use a support on a world boss can you tp out/get out of the arena with the support/range of support outside of the boss

its reset and i only got 2000 credits, the 2 friends supposed credits i shouldve gotten in the theory that they only show up on reset didn't happen so hm

might be worth to try and get the credits on record or something

okay so um using the "one more time" button didn't work because i did 5 rounds with it and my friend only got 4000 credits

so either the reset theory or the "in and out again" theory remain

did a single run with a friend 9:20
friend got the credits and claimed 20 mins after

so its not given on reset

ill do in an out either with another friend or tmrw

to check later: you can set a friend support right after you receive control of the trailblazer, but you only unlock the friend list later. can someone use your support before you unlock the friend list (as a stranger)

who's gonna use a lv1 support oh no......................

hypothesis 2 is correct! \o/ entering x rounds with support, exiting, then re-entering with the same support works

a fight is considered "finished" when the exit button is clicked and not before 🤔

actually im not sure how to provide evidence

for the exit and entering giving more credits

since it'd be done across 2 accounts and it'd be like. 1 recording of going in and out of a calyx with the same support, then another recording of said account w/ support taking the credits?

im not sure about how to really link them together really

to remain consistent with the game terms the friend support is called character support so i might rename at some point

or its just called support in game tbh but it'd be confused with support as in character support

i heard that as well but since im making a new account for 1 anw so i might as well check while im at it

friend list is unlocked after mc boards the train
so its gonna be funky waiting between that and coping for anyone to take a lv1 support

im not sure if i can test 1 really unless i have like several people refreshing the stranger list and coping

i can check 8 tmrw though

totk robbed my time to work on this uhh

ill format the doc today and might be wrapping up soon-ish

cleaned up doc 🫡 i might have to leave 3 things in my to-do list unfinished/undone because of time limitations

the 'receive support rewards before unlocking friend list', 'support credit limit is reset at the same time as the server', and 'is there a limit on how many credits you can 'give' players in the event that you can use supports w/o TP and it counts (latter of which untested as of now)'

1 is painful RNG, 2 is timezone issue and 3 is a stress test that i don't have time to organize (unfortunately) because life has unexpectedly picked up

might force myself to do 2 at some point

ill need to see how much time i have left tho
